Daniel Julius Meltzer (1951-2015) served on the Harvard Law School faculty from 1982 to 2015. He was an Assistant Professor of Law 1982-1987; Professor of Law 1987-1998; and Story Professor of Law 1998-2015. He served as Associate Dean 1989-1993, and Vice Dean for Physical Planning 2003-2009.
Research: Federal courts, federalism, separation of powers, criminal law and procedure.
