Writing at HLS

Get a roadmap to writing requirements, resources, and opportunities at Harvard Law School. Join Jeffrey R. Wilson, Director of the HLS Writing Center, and three students awarded HLS writing prizes:

• Will Cover, J.D. 2027, author of “Dignity’s Lost Role in Reconstruction” (winner of the Irving Oberman Memorial Prize: Constitutional Law and Equal Justice Under Law)
• Sagnik Das, S.J.D. 2027, author of “The Economic Constitution and the (Un)Making of International Law” (winner of The John Gallup Laylin Prize)
• Olivia Ferdinand, J.D. 2027, author of “Building at the Speed of AI: Data Centers, Expedited Permitting, and Who Bears the Burden” (winner of The Irving Oberman Memorial Prize: Environmental Law)
