The European Parliament elections take place June 6-9, 2024. With 370 million voters voting for 705 seats over four days by 27 EU member state legislations, they are some of the most diverse and complex elections globally. Attempts to harmonize elections on the EU level failed. The panel of Europe’s leading experts in election law, politics and election administration will explore legal and political challenges surrounding the European Parliament elections, including electoral integrity, election disputes, the rule of law protection, and the role of media and money. They will propose solutions to improve EU elections and ensure fair and transparent elections.
