Traphagen Distinguished Alumni Speaker Series with Joshua Friedman J.D.’82

The HLS Alumni Center presents a lunchtime talk with Joshua Friedman J.D.’82. This is the first spring semester event in the Traphagen Distinguished Alumni Speaker Series, where HLS alumni speak informally about their careers.

Joshua S. Friedman is Co-Founder, Co-Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Canyon Partners, LLC. Canyon’s investment platform encompasses event and credit-oriented strategies across a broad spectrum of asset classes. Prior to forming Canyon, Josh was Director of Capital Markets for High Yield and Private Placements at Drexel Burnham Lambert. Prior to working at Drexel, he worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions Department of Goldman Sachs in New York. Additionally, Josh serves on the boards and/or investment committees of several endowments and foundations and formerly served on the Board of Advisors for the Harvard Business School Board of Dean’s Advisors. Josh is a graduate of Harvard College, Oxford University, Harvard Business, and Harvard Law School.
