How Does the Media Find Room for Peace in a World of Nonstop Conflict?

The Herbert C. Kelman Seminar on International Conflict Analysis and Resolution presents a virtual panel session with members of Making Peace Visible Jamil Simon, Andrea Muraskin and Steven Youngblood.

The panelists will address the issues and approaches many journalists are currently using when reporting on peacebuilding. They will discuss specific ways journalists can further improve coverage of negotiations, peace initiatives, and reconciliation efforts. Key takeaways will be shared using details from 40+ interviews with peacebuilders and journalists, including a few illustrative clips.
