Matt Summers (HLS ’21) is an Appellate and Antitrust Associate in the San Francisco office of Berger Montague. Matt has argued in the 7th Circuit and helped win a $53 million trial verdict for antitrust plaintiffs. Before Berger Montague, Matt was in the Supreme Court & Appellate Practice at Jenner & Block, clerked on the First Circuit and D. Mass, and was a member of the 2020 Biden campaign’s antitrust policy team. At law school, Matt co-founded the HLS Antitrust Association and was an Ames semifinalist. Before law school, Matt was an economic consultant, spent time on a Fulbright in South Africa, did renewable energy work in Rwanda, and was named the Top Speaker at the 2015 U.S. Universities Debating Championship.
