Steve Laub is an accomplished executive with over 30 years of semiconductor industry leadership experience. Since 2022, Steve has served as a member of the board of directors of Rambus Corporation, a public semiconductor company, and from 2017-2020, served on the Advisory board at IPV Capital Partners, a semiconductor private equity firm.
From 2006 until its acquisition in 2016, Steve served as president, chief executive officer and member of the board of directors at Atmel Corporation, a public semiconductor company based in Silicon Valley. While at Atmel, he also served as a board member of the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) from 2011 to 2016. Prior to Atmel, he served in executive management positions including as executive chairman, president, chief executive officer and board member at Teridian Semiconductor and Silicon Image. Steve began his semiconductor career at Lattice Semiconductor Corporation, where he rose to president, chief operating officer and board member, from 1990 to 2003.
Prior to his semiconductor career, Steve was a Vice President and Partner at Bain and Company, a global strategy consulting firm. He has also served on several not-for-profit boards focused on the education sector, and currently is a board member at Heterodox Academy. Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Juris Doctor from the Harvard Law School.
