Jahan Sagafi J.D. ’01

Jahan runs the San Francisco office of Outten & Golden LLP, where he represents workers in employment class actions challenging discrimination, wage and hour abuses, worker speech suppression, and other types of exploitation. He has represented the State of California suing Activision for gender discrimination and harassment, and individuals challenging wrongdoing by Google, Meta, Uber, Chevron, and many other companies.

Jahan is active in the community, having served on various boards, including Legal Aid at Work, Alliance for Justice, the People’s Parity Project, the San Francisco American Constitution Society (ACS) Bay Area chapter, Public Advocates, and the ACLU of Northern California, as well as serving on committees of the Bar Association of San Francisco, the California Bar, the ABA Labor & Employment Law Section, NELA, CELA, AAJ, and other bar organizations.

Before joining Outten & Golden, he was a partner at Lieff, Cabraser, Heimann & Bernstein and clerked for the Honorable William W Schwarzer of the Northern District of California.
