Evan Simpson is a partner in Sullivan & Cromwell LLP’s General Practice Group based in London. He advises European corporates on U.S. capital markets transactions—both SEC-registered and Rule 144A/Section 3(c)(7) exempt offerings—and counsels boards and executives on complex, often cross-border M&A.

Evan’s recent matters include representing the FTX Debtors in the sale of their Japan business to bitFlyer Holdings; advising Stellantis on its $100 million anchor investment in ACG Acquisition Company Limited; and acting for Stellantis on the sale of its Brazilian and Portuguese cast-iron components businesses to Tupy S.A. and the agreed sale of its Mexican cast-iron components business to Cummins Inc.

On the capital markets side, he has advised underwriters on more than C$20 billion of OMERS Finance Trust note offerings, and issuers including Allianz SE and UBS Group AG.
