There are display screens located in the lobbies and common spaces of many buildings throughout the HLS campus. These screens display a list of the day’s events, a rotation of posters, and a snapshot of news stories from the Law School.

Events that have been listed on the HLS public calendar will automatically appear on the right side of the display screens in a running list on the day of the event.

If you would like to submit your event to the public calendar, you can do so via the event submission form.

Display Screen Posters

Event posters may be submitted for placement on the screens to online@law.harvard.edu. Digital posters must be sized to exactly 1207px (wide) x 793px (tall) in order to render properly on the screens. Posters should be saved as .jpg or .png files. Posters can begin running 30 days prior to the event date and will automatically be removed from the screens once the event has passed.

Creating Display Screen Posters

  • Make sure the key elements are clearly stated: event title, date, time, and location
  • Choose accessible, easy to read color schemes, and avoid long descriptions or paragraphs of text
  • Event posters rotate chronologically by event date. Posters are only on the screen for seconds at a time, so simple, eye catching designs will work best for this medium
  • Students must adhere to all event publicity guidelines set forth by CEEB in terms of content and design choices
