Clinic selection for the 2026-2027 academic year opens at 9 AM on March 31, 2026. Find all the resources you need to decide which clinics are right for you and how to enroll on this page.

J.D. students register for most clinics through Helios during the course and clinic selection period the spring of the year before.

Important Dates

  • 2026-2027 Clinic Selection Dates

    Clinic selection for the 2026-2027 academic year:

    • Opens on Tuesday, March 31 at 9 am
    • Closes on Thursday, April 2 at 5 pm
    • Results in Helios by Monday, April 6 by 5 pm
  • Fall 2026 Add/Drop Deadlines

    Externship Clinics Drop Deadline: August 7, 2026
    In-House Clinics Drop Deadline: August 21, 2026

    Final day to add or drop Fall, Fall-Winter, Fall – Spring clinics.
    Some clinics have earlier add/drop deadlines (for security clearance or pre-requisite reason); please check clinic descriptions in the course catalog for each clinic’s deadline.

  • Winter 2027 Add/Drop Deadline

    General Clinics Drop Deadline: Friday, October 23, 2026

    Final day to add or drop Winter and Winter-Spring clinics.
    Some clinics have earlier add/drop deadlines (for security clearance or pre-requisite reason); please check clinic descriptions in the course catalog for each clinic’s deadline.

  • Spring 2027 Add/Drop Deadlines

    Externship Clinics Drop Deadline: December 4, 2026
    In-House Clinics Drop Deadline: December 11, 2026
