This seems like the perfect time to feature one of my favorite spots on campus: the HLS “love bench.” Whenever I pass Lewis Hall, this bench brightens my day.
The inscription reads: “On January 17, 1985, not far from this spot, two people met and fell in love.”
Who are these two people? We know that one is an alumnus of HLS, but the identity of the couple is kept completely secret.
Whoever you are, dear couple, we wish you well on this and every Valentine’s Day.
