Sara will be working as a staff attorney with World Relief in Chicago, Illinois, providing legal aid to refugees, asylum seekers, and others seeking humanitarian immigration services. While at Harvard, Sara actively engaged in opportunities to work with this population. As a student in the Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinic, she worked with asylum seekers and victims of crime seeking u-visas. In the International Human Rights Clinic, Sara worked on a project advocating for the rights to movement and livelihood for refugees living in Kenya’s Kakuma Refugee Camp and Kalobeyei Settlement. Sara spent her 1L summer in Nigeria working on civilian protection issues with Center for Civilians in Conflict, and split her 2L summer between Turkey, with UNHCR, and Greece with Advocates Abroad, working in refugee advocacy and legal aid. Sara received her undergraduate degree from University of Washington in Political Science and Law, Societies, and Justice.
