Oakland’s Neighborhood Law Corps

Scott will return to Oakland’s Neighborhood Law Corps, where he spent his 2L summer, to work on issues of illegal dumping, a topic on which he wrote his joint degree thesis. He has worked as a summer fellow at the Oakland Police Department and at the Housing and Economic Rights Advocates. He was a clinical intern in the Consumer Law Unit of Greater Boston Legal Services and in the Predatory Lending Unit of Harvard’s Legal Services Center. Scott also works as an Outreach Director of the American Constitution Society and has co-chaired the HLS/HKS Joint Student group. He has an MPhil in International Relations from Oxford University and a B.A. in Political Science & History, summa cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles. He was a Rhodes Scholar.
