Kathryn will work as an attorney at the Center for Health and Gender Equity, supporting the Director of Public Policy and conducting coalition work, research, and advocacy. For her 2L summer, Kathryn was awarded a Ford Foundation Public Interest Fellowship to work as a legal intern at the Center for Reproductive Rights, where she conducted comparative legal research on abortion laws globally. She has also interned at the Organization for Refugee, Asylum and Migration, and worked as a student attorney at the Domestic Violence and Family Law Clinic as well as at the International Human Rights Clinic. She served as the Article Editor and Technical Editor for the HLS Journal of Law and Gender. Kathryn has an M.P.H. from the University of Michigan, School of Public Health and a B.A. with High Distinction in Anthropology and German from the University of Michigan. Before attending law school, she worked as a Quarantine Public Health Officer for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, volunteered as an adult ESL tutor, and served on a committee for an LGBTQ organization.
