Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW)

Haley Y. Florsheim is a 2025 graduate of Harvard Law School from Shorewood, Wisconsin. She will spend her fellowship year as a staff attorney at Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), supporting the organization’s efforts to promote good governance and safeguard democratic processes.

During her time at HLS, Haley enrolled in the Democracy and the Rule of Law Clinic and the Election Law Clinic. She spent her 1L summer as an intern with Democracy Forward and her 2L summer with the ACLU’s State Supreme Court Initiative. Haley was also a member of the Board of Student Advisers and the Tenant Advocacy Project.

From 2025-2026, Haley clerked on United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Prior to law school, she worked on a political campaign in her home state, completed an English teaching grant in Brazil, and worked for two DC-based nonprofit organizations. She holds an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
