PSVF Fellow: Beryl Emmerich (J.D. ’26)

Beryl will spend her fellowship year with the American Antitrust Institute, where she will contribute to its amicus program and other initiatives aimed at strengthening competition policy and antitrust enforcement. She is particularly interested in how competition policy can promote innovation, affordability, and access in healthcare markets.

At Harvard, Beryl worked as a research assistant for Professors Louis Kaplow and Henry Smith. She participated in the Health Law and Policy Clinic, where she worked on issues related to the provision of Hepatitis C treatment. During her summers, she interned for the Federal Trade Commission’s Technology Enforcement Division and at Cleary Gottlieb.

Prior to law school, Beryl served as a paralegal for the Federal Trade Commission and worked in economic consulting on antitrust matters. She holds an M.Phil. in Economics from the University of Cambridge and an undergraduate M.A. in Applied Economics from the University of St Andrews.
