PSVF Fellow: Emily Sklar (J.D. ’26)

Emily Sklar will spend her fellowship year with Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under the Law – Criminal Justice Project, where she will be working on cases challenging illegal policing practices and use of AI in policing as well as litigation to hold white nationalist groups accountable for race-based acts of hate.

While at Harvard, Emily participated in the Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinic and the Capital Punishment Clinic. During her summers, she interned with the New York Office of the Attorney General Civil Rights Bureau and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.

Prior to law school, Emily was an immigration paralegal in Washington, D.C. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Johns Hopkins University.
