Washington, D.C. & Amman, Jordan

Natalie will join the Public International Law & Policy Group as a Law Fellow in their Washington, DC headquarters and Amman, Jordan field office. Her work will focus on peace negotiations and post-conflict transitional justice in the Middle East. At HLS, Natalie worked in the International Human Rights Clinic on disarmament and women’s rights projects with United Nations treaty bodies. She also served as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard International Law Journal and Co-Director of the Parody musical. During her summers, Natalie researched the Yemeni draft Constitution with International IDEA in Tunis, Tunisia and participated in international trials with the U.S. Department of State in The Hague, Netherlands. She also spent a winter term interviewing stakeholders about the human rights implications of the Cape Town water crisis in South Africa. Before law school, Natalie taught English in Ramle, Israel and completed an MA in environmental law and sustainable development at SOAS, University of London. Natalie also holds a BA in international relations and environmental science from New York University.
