Naomi Campbell will be joining the Centro de los Derechos del Migrante, Inc. (CDM) in Mexico City on a Public Service Venture Fund Fellowship and a Frederick Sheldon Traveling Fellowship. At CDM, Naomi will promote justice for migrant workers through litigation, policy advocacy, and research on legal empowerment, in partnership with community-based activists. At HLS, Naomi was a clinical student in the Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinic and the Harvard Negotiation and Mediation Clinic, and served on the board of the Law and International Development Society. She was a Teaching Assistant for the Negotiation Workshop and the Program on Negotiation’s summer sessions. While in law school, Naomi also served as a legal intern for the Programa de Acción por la Igualdad y la Inclusión Social in Bogotá, Colombia, the Immigrant and Employee Rights Section of the Department of Justice, and Namati, a global legal empowerment organization. Prior to law school, she was a fellow at the Right Question Institute, an educational non-profit dedicated to helping people in low-income communities advocate for themselves, participate in decisions that affect them, and partner with service providers. She holds a B.A. in History and Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis.
