PSVF Fellow: Eliza McDuffie (J.D. ’19)

Eliza McDuffie will be working at the MacArthur Justice Center’s Appellate Project in Washington, D.C., where she will focus on using appellate litigation as a vehicle for change in the criminal justice system. During her time in law school, Eliza was a student writing editor for the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review, a student attorney for the Prison Legal Assistance Project, and a member of the winning team in the 2018 Ames Moot Court Competition. Eliza spent her summers at the Legal Aid Society’s Criminal Appeals Bureau and the ACLU of Georgia. Prior to law school, she taught high school math in Marked Tree, Arkansas as a Teach for America corps member. Eliza is a graduate of Emory University with a B.A. in Women’s Studies.
