Towards Justice

Cat has been awarded a 2018 PSVF Fellowship and the Skirnick Fellowship to work as a staff attorney at Towards Justice in Denver, Colorado. At Towards Justice, Cat will work to recover stolen wages and empower workers in Denver through direct representation and community lawyering in partnership with a collaborating workers’ center, Centro Humanitario Para Los Trabajadores.
Cat is passionate about racial and economic justice, with interest in both civil and criminal law. During her time in law school, she worked for two years as a student attorney in the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau, focusing her work in its housing, wage and hour, and special immigrant juvenile status practice areas. Cat also worked as a student attorney in Harvard Defenders, representing low-income clients in criminal show cause hearings. During her law school summers, Cat interned at the ACLU of Michigan in Detroit, the National Consumer Law Center in Boston, and the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia’s trial division. Cat was recognized at HLS Commencement in May 2018 for having completed more than 2,000 hours of pro bono service in law school.
Prior to law school, Cat graduated from the University of Florida with degrees in English and Public Relations. (Go Gators.)
