Brandy DeOrnellas has been awarded a PSVF fellowship, in addition to a Borchard Fellowship, to work with Legal Assistance for Seniors, where she will serve as a traditional staff attorney, providing direct legal services to low-income seniors in the Bay Area with an emphasis on combating elder abuse. During her time at HLS, Brandy served as Line-Editor of the Harvard Journal on Law and Gender, Sub-cite Editor of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review, Board Member on the Harvard Women’s Law Association Public Interest Committee, and as a mediator for the Harvard Mediation Program. She was also involved in the Wilmerhale Legal Services Center at Harvard where she worked in the Family Law and Domestic Violence division as a student attorney. Brandy spent her law school summers in the Bay Area as a law clerk with Legal Services for Prisoners with Children and with Equal Rights Advocates.
