Juliana has been awarded a Kaufman fellowship to work at the International Women’s Health Coalition, where she will help protect and promote women’s sexual and reproductive health and rights at the regional and global level. Prior to HLS, Juliana supported strategic public interest litigation at Rio de Janeiro State University Law School’s Clinic on Fundamental Rights, helping bring human rights cases before the Brazilian Supreme Federal Court on issues such as mass incarceration and legal rights of trans people. At HLS, she worked on health policy projects through the Health Law and Policy Clinic and the Petrie-Flom Center, and developed an independent clinical project at the World Bank.  She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Rio de Janeiro State University, Brazil.
