Episode 3: Deanna Pantín Parrish and Ana Carolina Viana Riella, Part 2
Deanna Pantín Parrish and Ana Carolina Viana Riella
Part 2
In this second episode with Ana and Deanna, they talk about a project that offers training to more than 200 judges in Brazil. They explain how the idea was brought to them, how it was developed and finally how it was presented in Brazil.
They found out that there was already a pilot program in Curitiba, south of Brazil. Then, they had an assessment presentation with around 100 judges in Brasilia, capital of Brazil, and later, a bigger presentation with over 200 judges in Salvador, Bahia state, Northeast of Brazil.
They also talk about how they met, how each of their departments works, and about the folks who helped them to achieve their goals, at HLS and in Brazil.
The goal of this podcast is to introduce folks to HLS staff members from across the community. You may recognize the names of some guests, and if you don’t, that’s okay! We hope that you will tune in to learn more about your colleagues—what their role is, what makes them tick, and why they do the work that they do at HLS. If you’re interested in being a guest, please let us know—we would love to hear your story. Our stories bring us together; we come from different backgrounds and serve all different roles, but our shared community at HLS unites us. Let us hear your story!
