Arthur Taylor von Mehren (1922-2006) served on the Harvard Law School faculty from 1946 to 2006. He was an Assistant Professor of Law 1946-1953; Professor of Law 1953-1976; Joseph Story Professor of Law 1976-1993; and an Emeritus professor 1993-2006.
