Drake Reed is a Lecturer on Law teaching in the First-Year Legal Research and Writing Program.

Drake received a J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 2022 and a B.A. in political science and economics, with high distinction, from Indiana University in 2014. While in law school, he was a member of the Board of Student Advisers, a student writing editor of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review, and a supervising editor of the Harvard Journal on Legislation. He previously practiced at Selendy Gay Elsberg PLLC and is currently a judicial law clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.

Before law school, Drake taught high school math at Little Wound School, a tribal K-12 school in the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota.
