Throughout the Law School campus you will find a number of blue light emergency phones. These phones are on an internal campus system and will only call a Harvard University extension.
Only certain blue light emergency phone models are equipped with a number pad to dial a Harvard University extension. All phones have an EMERGENCY button. The EMERGENCY button will automatically call Harvard University Police Department (HUPD.)
These phones should be used to report suspicious activity, crimes in progress, or any emergency situation. The police dispatcher will identify the location of the phone, and dispatch police and other security personnel as necessary.
For fire and medical emergencies, please dial 911 from a blue light emergency phone or your cell phone.
