History of Griswold Hall
Built in 1967 according to designs by Benjamin Thompson Associates, Griswold Hall was renamed in 1979 to celebrate the 75th birthday of Dean Erwin N. Griswold ’28 S.J.D ’29, who served as the sixth dean of the Harvard Law School and former United States Solicitor General.
