History of 1607 Massachusetts Ave
Originally built in the 1920s, the single store brick building has accommodated retail uses, including Bence Pharmacy, a food establishment (Three Aces Pizza), a dry cleaner (Crimson Cleaners), an apparel store (Looks), and Central Barbershop. Construction of a new four-story building at this location was completed and opened for use in the fall of 2019. The mixed-use building accommodates retail use on the ground floor and the upper floors house both Clinical and Research programs.
