As the world’s largest democracy heads to the ballot in 2024, there is renewed focus on heightening state repression. The panel, comprising Professor Jayati Ghosh (UMass Amherst) and Professor Mohamad Junaid (MCLA), will reflect on the state of democratic rights and dissent in India, as well as look forward to potential futures after the elections.
