Progressive Trailblazer: A Conversation with Congresswoman Delia Ramirez

Join the Women’s Law Association on March 28 from 12:30 pm – 1:15 pm (Austin 111) for a conversation with Congresswoman Delia Ramirez (IL-03). Congresswoman Ramirez currently serves on the Committee for Veterans Affairs and is the Vice-Ranking Member of the Committee on Homeland Security. The daughter of working-class Guatemalan immigrants, Congresswoman Ramirez is the first Latina elected to Congress in Illinois and the entire Midwest. The event will consist of brief remarks by Congresswoman Ramirez, followed by time for student Q&A. Lunch will be provided.
