National Animal Law Competition Final Arguments

Join us in Ames Courtroom for the final arguments round of the National Animal Law Competitions. The purpose of the National Animal Law Competitions is to provide law students an opportunity to develop knowledge in the field of animal law and to hone their written and oral advocacy skills. Finalists in the three categories—Appellate Advocacy, Legislative Drafting & Lobbying, and Closing Argument—will compete in front of distinguished judges.

Legislative Lobbying Competition: 9:00 am–10:15 am
Closing Argument Competition: 10:20 am–12:00 pm
Appellate Argument Competition: 1:00 pm–2:00 pm
Awards Ceremony: 2:15 pm–3:00 pm
