What is it like to be a parent while practicing at a top law firm? Whether you aren’t sure when (or whether) you’ll have children, plan to have children while practicing, or are already a parent, this panel will bring a diverse range of perspectives on the reality of parenting as a woman in BigLaw.

Our candid conversation will cover whether and how to choose a firm and practice area based on your family goals, planning your career and family trajectories simultaneously, and navigating conversations about pregnancy and parenting with partners and peers, among other topics.

The panel will be moderated by Emily Klingbeil (Co-Founder, Phoebe; HBS ’09) and feature lawyer/mother panelists from a broad range of practice areas and seniority levels from Skadden, Quinn Emanuel, and Mayer Brown, as well as Rachel Boufford (Board Advisor; former Davis Polk associate and head of career coaching at Sullivan & Cromwell).
