We will enjoy a fireside chat with Dr. Oscar Brookins, emeritus faculty in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities at Northeastern University.
Dr. Brookins, an accomplished economist and a native of Yazoo County, is currently writing a memoir about growing up in Mississippi. We will explore themes from his memoir and reflect on why focusing on community-centered work in the Delta is so important in this moment.
