We will enjoy a fireside chat with Dr. Oscar Brookins\, emeritus faculty in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities at Northeastern Universit y.

Dr. Brookins\, an accomplished economist and a native of Yazoo Cou nty\, is currently writing a memoir about growing up in Mississippi. We wil l explore themes from his memoir and reflect on why focusing on community-c entered work in the Delta is so important in this moment.
