Meet the Judge: Hon. Lauren King, W.D. Wash.

Hear firsthand from the Honorable Lauren J. King of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. Judge King is a member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation in Oklahoma and has served as a Pro Tem appellate judge for the Northwest Intertribal Court System and on the board of the Northwest Tribal Court Judges Association. Before joining the bench in 2021, she was a partner at Foster Garvey in Seattle and chair of the firm’s Native American practice group. She received her JD in 2008 from the University of Virginia School of Law.
