Meet the Judge: Hon. Dana Douglas, 5th Cir.

Hear firsthand from the Honorable Dana Douglas of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Prior to her confirmation to the Fifth Circuit in December 2022, Judge Douglas served as a magistrate judge for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.  She previously worked in private practice, including as a partner at Liskow & Lewis in New Orleans focused on the oil and gas industries.  She clerked herself for Judge Ivan L. R. Lemelle of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana and received her JD in 2000 from the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.
