Please join us for a lunch talk with Mayor Sumbul Siddiqui to discuss her work as the Mayor of Cambridge, and how law students and young attorneys can play a role in effective governance and policymaking. As the first Muslim woman elected Mayor in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Mayor Siddiqui’s priorities throughout her two terms thus far have included increasing affordable housing, supporting local businesses, improving Cambridge Public Schools, and tackling income inequality.
