Litigating Human Rights in U.S. Courts: Discussion with Haitian Human Rights Defenders Seeking Justice in U.S. Court

Please join Harvard Advocates and the International Human Rights Clinic for an event following the jury trial in Boniface v. Viliena that just concluded in federal court in Boston. The case was brought by Haitian human rights defenders and media activists who survived torture and extrajudicial killings in Les Irois, Haiti. The Haitian plaintiffs and attorneys from the Center for Justice & Accountability and Haitian Bridge Alliance will be on campus to reflect on the case and the broader role of human rights litigation in US courts.
