Join Ivar Hartmann LL.M. ’12 for an informal talk about academic careers in Brazil for both Brazilians and non-Brazilians. He will also talk about his experiences building a new law school and its faculty from scratch. Professor Hartmann taught for eight years at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) law school in Rio de Janeiro before joining the faculty of Insper in São Paulo, where his research focuses on law and technology and empirical legal studies.
