Jessup International Law Moot Court Auditions!

The HLS Jessup Team is recruiting new members for the 2023-2024 school year! Apply to join the team here by Thursday, 9/7. Tryouts will take place on Saturday, 9/9.

The Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition is the world’s largest and most prestigious moot court competition, with 700 teams around the world regularly participating each year. The Jessup Competition is an international law moot court: it simulates a fictional dispute between two countries before the International Court of Justice, the principal judicial organ of the United Nations. Teams that advance to the International Rounds will go to Washington, DC where they will have a chance to compete against and meet with teams from around the world. Jessup is a significant time commitment, and for that reason, all team members will receive several academic credits throughout the school year.

*Once you submit your materials, you will receive additional information in order to prepare for the oral argument portion of the audition. The sooner you submit your application, the more time you will have to prepare.
