Are you interested in improving healthcare access in the criminal legal system? Reentry Care is a nonprofit organization that aims to support currently/formerly incarcerated people in accessing and navigating healthcare services.
We are hosting a workshop and brainstorming session on Monday, 4/22 at Harvard Medical School (Tosteson Medical Education Center 130 on Longwood Ave) for interested medical/law students, providers, attorneys, formerly incarcerated people, and community organizers. The focus will be on surfacing healthcare specific challenges during reentry and mobilizing medical students and providers. Dinner will be provided!
- 6-7pm: A health education workshop for formerly incarcerated people and loved ones.
- 7-8pm: A brainstorming session for medical/law students, practitioners, community organizers, & formerly incarcerated people interested in improving healthcare access during incarceration and reentry.
