Exploring Food Justice: Achieving Equity in the Food System

Join the Food Law and Policy Clinic for a panel moderated by State Representative Michelle Ciccolo and consisting of Congresswoman and Democratic Whip Katherine Clark, Doug Rauch (Founder of Daily Table, Former President of Trader Joes), Emily Broad Leib (Director of the Food Law and Policy Clinic), and Joe Brown (Local Community Member).

Panelists will discuss the local and national food security landscape, its effects on our society and environment, and how you can help create a more inclusive food system. Our panelists will draw from their knowledge and experience to discuss how state and federal policies impact food production and distribution; where the biggest opportunities are right now to effect change; and how policy, innovation, and community programs can intersect to bring about lasting improvements to our food system.
