Bill Charron, Steven Schindler, and Dan Weiner are three of the foremost celebrated lawyers in art law internationally. Each has been recognized for their achievements in international arbitration and representation of museums, auction houses, galleries, artists and collectors in high profile disputes.

These distinguished guests will be joining HALO for a fascinating conversation focused on arbitration of art related disputes. We will be covering topics including their involvement in Hague’s Court of Arbitration for Art (“CAFA”), the advantages of arbitration proceedings over traditional court proceedings, unique considerations for legal disputes involving NFTs and digital art, and issues of restitution and cultural property.

Bill Charron is a partner at Pryor Cashman LLP where he serves as the co-chair for Pryor Cashman’s Art Law Group and is a member of the firm’s Litigation, Intellectual Property, and Media + Entertainment Groups. He is the founder of the Court of Arbitration for Art.

Steven Schindler is one of the founding partners of Schindler Cohen & Hochman LLP, one of New York City’s outstanding litigation and art law boutiques, where he serves as head of the Art Law Group, He also co-hosts the popular Art Law Podcast with fellow lawyer Katie Wilson-Milne.

Dan Weiner is Chair of Hughes Hubbard & Reed’s Litigation Department, Chair of the Complex Business Disputes practice and a partner in the International & Domestic Arbitration and Intellectual Property Disputes groups.
