DEI & the Law: A Conversation with Professor Jasmin Gonzáles

Join us for a conversation with Professor Jasmine Gonzales Rose, the first Latina to be tenured at Boston University School of Law and a HLS alum. A leading critical evidence scholar, Professor Gonzales Rose’s research examines how race, racism, and antiracism are used and understood as sources of proof in litigation, and how juror language disenfranchisement systematically limits who can serve as factfinders. Her scholarship has been published in top law journals and edited volumes, and her teaching has earned multiple awards, including the Dean’s Teaching Award at BU.
