Community Gathering in Recognition of 10/7/23, Co-Hosted by the Jewish Law Students Association and Alliance for Israel

Join JLSA and AFI from 12:15–1:15 PM on October 7 for a community gathering space to remember, reflect, and be together. Lunch will be provided, and we will have stories of victims available to read and honor, along with stickers, keychains, and other small items that students can take to display their remembrance and solidarity on laptops, water bottles, backpacks, and elsewhere.

This gathering marks three years since Hamas’s October 7, 2023 attack on Israel, in which Hamas killed approximately 1,200 people and took 251 hostage into Gaza. For many in our community, the anniversary continues to carry deep grief, pain, and difficult memories. This will be a space to come together. Whether you want to reflect quietly, honor those we lost, or simply sit alongside members of our community, we hope you will join us as we remember together, grieve together, and find strength in one another.
