Join JLSA and AFI from 12:15–1:15 PM on Oc tober 7 for a community gathering space to remember\, reflect\, and be toge ther. Lunch will be provided\, and we will have stories of victims availabl e to read and honor\, along with stickers\, keychains\, and other small ite ms that students can take to display their remembrance and solidarity on la ptops\, water bottles\, backpacks\, and elsewhere.
This gathering mar ks three years since Hamas’s October 7\, 2023 attack on Israel\, in which H amas killed approximately 1\,200 people and took 251 hostage into Gaza. For many in our community\, the anniversary continues to carry deep grief\, pa in\, and difficult memories. This will be a space to come together. Whether you want to reflect quietly\, honor those we lost\, or simply sit alongsid e members of our community\, we hope you will join us as we remember togeth er\, grieve together\, and find strength in one another.
