Queer Trans People of Color (QTPOC) and the Harvard Law School LGBTQ+ Advocacy Clinic invite you to join us to learn from practitioners about how they center race and transformational justice in their work on LGBTQ+ issues. In advance of clinic registration, we will also be discussing how the work of the LGBTQ+ Advocacy Clinic prioritizes race and transformational justice.

This event will consist of a lunchtime panel (12:30-1:30pm) with speakers:

  • Professor Alexander Chen (HLS LGBTQ+ Advocacy Clinic, Founding Director)

  • Tyeesha Dixon (HLS LGBTQ+ Advocacy Clinic, Clinical Instructor)

  • D Dangaran (Rights Behind Bars, Movement Lawyering and Litigation Fellow)

  • Richard Saenz (Lambda Legal, Senior Attorney and Criminal Justice and Police Misconduct Strategist)

Tyeesha Dixon, D Dangaran, and Richard Saenz will also be offering one-on-one 30-minute advising sessions, during which HLS students are invited to have more personalized conversations about their careers.
