Join JOLT and the University of Iowa’s Innovation, Business and Law Center on March 31st and April 1st for Beyond the FTC: The Future of Privacy Enforcement — a symposium focused on the boundaries of privacy enforcement! The event will feature some of the leading privacy law scholars — including Woodrow Hartzog, Stacy-Ann Elvy, Helen Nissenbaum, and Paul Ohm — in conversation about scholarship they specially produced for this event regarding current and future legal frameworks for consumer privacy.
The event features keynote speeches by Electronic Frontier Foundation Executive Director Cindy Cohn, FTC Director Samuel Levine, and U.S. Congresswoman Lori Trahan. Moderators include Susan McGregor (Columbia University Data Science Institute), Jonathan Zittrain (Harvard Law School), Olivier Sylvain (Fordham University School of Law, Senior Advisor to FTC Chair Lina Khan), and Joe Calandrino (FTC Office of Technology Research and Investigation).
